Flames prospect Eetu Tuulola has been assigned to Västerviks IK of Sweden's HockeyAllsvenskan league.
Tuulola, the Flames' sixth round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft, spent the 2019-20 season with the Stockton Heat in the AHL. In 50 games, he scored 10 goals and 23 points.

This will be the right winger's first stint in Sweden. The 22-year-old, who was born in Hämeenlinna, Finland, has spent the bulk of his career in his home country with HPK in the Finnish Liiga league. In 121 games with HPK, Tuulola has 29 goals and 63 points.
He has also represented Finland on multiple occasions, with the most recent international appearance being at the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship.
